A photo to match my mood the other day. The day started off horrible with my computer taking a dump. An hour later I was back up and running. Unfortunately my day went downhill from there. I'm in much better spirits this morning.
I've been trying to experiement with an extremely limited depth of field. Luckily one of my canon lenses goes all the way down to F 1.4
This shot was taken w/Jess using the modeling lights from my speedo heads. 200w with softbox at an ISO of 1600 to give it some noise.
As you can see with the depth of field... the subject is truly in focus.
Awesome!
It's rare that I find an image with two focal points that stand out so much (well, they do for me anyhow).
Hmmm, would be interesting to see this in colour; soft tones, soft lighting etc..
we all feel like that somedays...im glad to hear you are doing better though,
this pic is definitly how i feel somdays,,its great stuff
sometimes i dont understand how u do such great work
As always thanks for your interest in my work. To tell you the truth sometimes I don't know how I pull it off. The stars and planets align correctly... and whalla I get lucky I guess.
I am truly flattered you like my work. I'm pretty modest when it comes to my photos. Everyone I know both in life and on DA have been very positive.... so I'm begining to come out of my shell... or at least realizing that I have some "good" shots.
Thanks again....

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.
